Experience
I have tutored at reading and writing centers in California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) in areas of reading, writing and grammar. I have experience working with young children and adults of diverse backgrounds. I have also tutored in ESL. Currently, I am teaching a test preparation course at CSUS. I am also teaching college-level reading and writing classes at Yuba College and teaching ESL at Los Medanos Community College. In terms of coursework, I have taken a series of graduate level course work on tutoring, teaching ESL ,and teaching reading and writing to native speakers of English, and curriculum development.
