Education

I am a junior at CSU: Sacramento studying history and am looking to add students to my schedule. I have taken intermediate college writing, non-major math courses, history and English survey classes, some biology, and critical thinking. All these areas have built upon prior education in high school and prior, and have made me competent to tutor students up to the collegiate level.

Experience

I currently tutor students any age, up to the collegiate level in most arts and letters subjects (writing, research, projects, speeches, and performing), and up to high school level in math and sciences. I have tutored throughout my college years, and students have been all ages and from all backgrounds. Tutored at Select Learning Techniques in 8th and 9th grades. Tutored students frequently at the boarding school I attended in various correspondence work courses.. 1850 SAT, 27 ACT With Writing I want to be a tutor because it will help my teaching skills when I become a teacher. Hobbies

I enjoy reading from many genres, including historical fiction, fantasy, classics, theatre, and philosophy. Collectible card games and board games are a big thing with friends and family, as we are all very competitive. I also play some video games in my free time. I love the 49ers and the Giants, as I was born and raised on them. Every Saturday my friends and I go out and do an outdoor-type event, whether it be a barbecue, swimming (only summer!), basketball, touch-football, or even just throwing a frisbee. During summer vacation though, whenever my friends and I don't work, we are doing something On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my girlfriend and I work out at the WELL on CSUS's campus. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we do workouts in our area such as walking, a jog, or a bike ride.
